CHIVE AND BLACK PEPPER DIPPING SAUCE

Makes about 1/2 cup.   Published July 1, 2009. From Cook's Illustrated.

INGREDIENTS

5 tablespoons mayonnaise
3 tablespoons sour cream
2 tablespoons chopped fresh chives
1 1/2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
1/4 teaspoon table salt
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Whisk all ingredients together in small bowl.
